A few years ago, I asked myself:
What’s one bold move I’m ready to make?
A few years ago, I found myself wrestling with this question. At the time, I was living in a constant state of "on" - always responding to emails, always available, always connected. I realized something had to change.
So, my bold move?
I committed to reclaiming my time.
I set a clear boundary: No work after 7 PM.
It might seem like a simple thing, but in that moment, I realized how much my work phone had been ruling my life. By setting that boundary, I took back my time - and it felt like I'd gotten a part of myself back that I'd been missing.
This transformation showed me the power of one intentional change. It gave me more space for what mattered most - whether that was unwinding, recharging, or spending time with the people I care about.
Here’s another bold move:
One of my clients had a breakthrough this year in her career. She realized her expertise was valuable and valued. With this newfound confidence, she started saying yes to invitations to industry events.
It started with participating in panel discussions, but quickly grew into opportunities to position herself as a thought leader in her field.
Her bold move? Owning her value, stepping into visibility, and creating space for herself in a new way.
What’s your bold move for 2025?
Whether it’s protecting your well-being or stepping up in your career, now is the time to make it happen.
Take Action:
If you’re not sure where to start, here are 3 small steps to help you gain clarity:
Reflect: Write down 3 things that excite and scare you. Which feels most aligned?
Commit: Take one action this week, even if it’s small (like scheduling a conversation or blocking time on your calendar).
Celebrate: Progress deserves recognition. Acknowledge yourself for starting.
✨ This year is your chance to create growth and success without sacrifice.
